Welcome to the Thornton Cabela's! The Thornton Cabela's opened on the same day as the Cabela's in Lone Tree, Colorado, and what a busy day that was! With all that there is to do in Colorado, it's no wonder we had to open up two locations in Denver. The Thornton Cabela's boasts an impressive 90,000 sq. ft. to serve the north Denver metro area. Located at I-25 and 144th Ave., this store was built in Cabela's next-generation format, designed to surround customers in the outdoor experience. Your kids will love the lifelike taxidermy and watching local fish swim in the aquarium, and we invite archers of all skill levels to try out a bow or crossbow in our indoor archery test area.
